Our Product Of The Day is the new ‘Kolibri Hub’ by Éclat and it certainly looks as though they have tailored this hub to the ‘budget rider’ – It’s a basic, no frills, straight-forward strong & affordable hub. The shell is a clean, simple design which keeps the cost of machining down (and the overall RRP) – The flanges are nice and low which stops you wrecking them during grinds and matches Élcat’s small front hub flanges nicely. They’ve decided to stick with a 14mm hollow axle which keeps the weight down and a simple cassette system with a full bushing driver.
