Owain clegg putting his foot in it?

Seventies have a competition running over on their blog www.seventies.co.uk. It's been counjoured up by the comedy mind of Orchid Team Manager Owain Clegg. Owains decided that to enter the competition you have to submit a story relating to 'putting your foot in it'. Here is one of Owains (many) stories...

"While working at the Boneyard skatepark during the summer a few years ago, we had a group of kids come in a minibus from the local community. Which was nothing new as we had groups of kids with learning difficulties or minor disabilities coming throughout the summer.
So I welcomed the group into the park and carried on with my office responsibilities. Next thing I know one of these kids comes into the office looking in some discomfort. I noticed that this particular kid had a stump at his elbow when he first came in, so I was obviously concerned he had badly hurt himself, however he tells me that it was only a graze and that its not that bad. While i was seeing to him I asked my friend Chris, who was the manager at the time, to pass me some medi wipes to clean up his graze. Chris, who had been in the park at the time of the kids arrival, had no idea of this kids disability and was used to over the top whiney kids, replied with his normal proverbial sarcasm, "It looks like your arm has fell off!".
I turned round immediately, only to see Chris' face in total horror over the realization that this kid had in fact got a stump, i can only imagine that Chris was wishing the floor would swallow him up."
