New Odyssey Video Online

If you liked the look of the Mutiny video trailer, you’ll LOVE the new Odyssey one… hi-def, high quality, it looks completely amazing. Aaron Ross, Chase Hawk, Mike Aitken, Jim Cielencki, Adam Banton, Jimmy Levan, Taj, Beringer, the whole Odyssey team, they're all in it and it's been filmed around the world. We spoke with Nuno Oliveira at Odyssey to get the inside track on this high class DVD that we at the Ride office are definitely looking forward to:

What are you doing right now Nuno?

Answering email and hyping Electronical!

So, what we all want to know is, when is it coming out?

Early next year, sometime after Christmas. Filming wraps up soon, and then editing begins.

Who is working on it?

The Nine To Five films crew, which consists of Will Stroud and Chad Shackelford. They are doing a fine job.

The last Odyssey video was crazy - and largely underrated - how do you think this one will go down?

It's gonna go down great. The riding is fresh, the team is pretty diverse and the production level will be up there. The response to the trailer has been positive so far, and that doesn't really give away too much, so the actual video will be a rad piece of work.

Is everyone on the team on it? I mean, you have a big and varied team now... are they all on?

Yeah, all of the main team guys will have a part, and the flow guys will be in there as well. Most of the people in the video are listed on the Electronical site under the ‘map’ link.

Who has your favourite part, at this early stage do you have one?

Well, the actual parts haven't been put together, but Will and Chad send us random footage after each trip, and it's all been really good, especially with the fancy HD equipment. Each one of the guys on the team are awesome in their own right, and I've still been surprised by what they have been producing. The best thing is that the HD footage can make something as simple as a flatty look even better, which is good.

What else should we be looking out for on this video?

There will be some cool surprises and stuff, but mostly just a fun video with good riding that’s visually appealing.
