In engineering terms this has to go down with the building of the pyramids. How did they get river water into the bowl?

I’m not sure where I stand with this. On the one hand this crew have completely rendered the bowl at Hebden Bridge park unrideable by turning it into a make shift swimming pool. On the other, you have to give them credit for creativity and sheer work ethic. They filled the bowl using rank water from the River Calder next to the park, how? I aint got a clue.

If it makes any of you die hard bowl fans feel better about this, half of the swimmers contracted a sickness and diarrhoea bug most probably from the rat infested water used. I mean look at the colour of that!!!
