Jammin! – We’re at FISE!

This morning I woke up early and navigated my way through the horrific London transport system to Gatwick Airport, my destination, the FISE contest in Montpellier, France. My filming partner Lee Turner chose to drive up in a car from Bournemouth with Luke Marchant and Tony Watkinson, picking up Mark Webb on the way.

At the airport gate we met up with a few other riders including Mongoose rider Paul Ryan who’d endured a mammoth trip from Liverpool at 5am this morning!

Once off the flight we were driven straight to the hotel, it’s a nice apartment only a few minutes away from the event. Only a few minutes rest and Ben Hennon was on the phone looking to meet us for a beverage. We agreed and walked over to check out the course, a definite improvement on last year. Shortly after we met up with Vans trip casualty’s Alistair Whitton and Corey Martinez for a ditch session. We were met by Mirraco big gun Ryan Guettler and a few members of his crew including Rob Darden and Dave Rytell. They want to shoot some more stuff over the weekend for a little video so the footage is in the reserves. Here are some photos of the ditch session…
