2 Hip - back in the UK

May 22, 2007 @ 10:12 AM by Robin Fenlon

Just when you thought we might have never seen Ron's company flourishing in the UK, 2-Hip Bikes have just picked up a new distributor and a small tight team. So, who's on it? First up, Taliban Tom. That's not his real name by birth, that's just what everyone calls him, and it's stuck - we had a Bio on him in the magazine not so long ago. Next up, Paul Russell - one of my personal favourite riders, Paul's full-speed style has now found a new home after being in limbo for a bit. Check this video clip (below) which was shot during a Hot Wheels trip to Sweden, which was about three years ago - but it could've been filmed yesterday - timeless!

Look out for more from 2-Hip Bikes very soon - check the magazine.

Paul Russell's quick video clip from the Hot Wheels / Ride UK Scandinavian tour, from 2004. I'll never forget the time Paul showed up to ride Rob Ridge's park, threw his bike together, and rode - only for his front wheel to drop out of his forks mid manual. He'd only done it up with his fingers, too keen to start riding to bother with such frivolous luxuries as bike tools. Video by Alex Rankin
