WIN: A Warehouse Project Pacakge

Going into this issues brand new Warehouse Project concept we had a rough idea of how and what we wanted to achieve, but if and how this would actually happen was always at the forefront of our minds. Almost two months later we are now sitting here discussing the good times that were spent in the dusty shell of a warehouse space, reminiscing with the teams and getting the low down on what worked and what might not have. While in conversation, and while the teams and more importantly the Team Manager’s were still buzzing, we dropped the ‘competition’ question
into the mix. “So guys do you have any left over products from your week in the warehouse, that you would be up for giving away to a lucky Ride UK reader?”
Randomly, we will put this down to lack of sleep or dust poisoning, the response was amazing and each team was more than happy to dig deep and grab a few treats from the week… That’s when it all went a bit wrong!
First up to supply some ‘leftovers’ were team DC Shoes, who with huge enthusiasm handed over a broken tool belt, 2 litres of blue paint and 500 turbogold Philips head screws. Hmmm. Next Stolen popped up with a case of Stella Artois and 8 glow sticks. This wasn’t actually what we were thinking, but hopefully the other two teams could help.
We then received Premiums package, which consisted of a used Playstation controller and a mop, not the best, but with BSD still to come, could they save the day. In a word, no. 4 cardboard boxes, 6 cans of spray paint and a fake moustache were submitted and right then and there we thought “right, we have no competition for this issue!”
The teams, although very generous, had spoilt our plans.
Fortunately, after a few “come on guys” jokes, we sorted it and the teams definitely came up with the goods. The random bits and pieces were given back (although I think our designer kept the glow sticks) and the prize produce was submitted. Which in our opinion I think you guys would much rather like to take home, even if the screws were ‘turbo’ gold.
Thanks again to the 4 teams for supplying the various treats for one lucky reader to take home, and see what they all got up throughout the rest of the issue.
