1. What is your very first memory of BMX?
A green Haro Master with white mags.

2. How did you feel when you got your first bike – do you have the same feelings now when you set up a new bike?
Freedom, yes I still get this feeling.

3. What was your first bike like?
Badass…

4. What is your latest bike like?
Badass…

5. When & what was the first time you saw a rider do something amazing on a bike?
When I was in fifth grade I saw an eighth grader do a rockwalk. I was hooked.

6. When & what was the last time you saw a rider do something amazing on a bike?
The other day when my friend Mikey from San Diego did a 360 tailwhip down seven stairs.

7. If you hadn’t discovered BMX, what do you think you’d be doing now?
Being the wacko leader of some totally bizzare quasi-religious sex magick cult.

8. When it comes to riding, do you go for style or tricks?
A well-balanced combination of the two really impresses the judges...

9. Do you have to work on progression, or does it just come naturally to you?
Sometimes the secret power flows through me freely. At other times it does not.

10. What state of mind enables you to progress your riding?
A prolonged derangement of the senses.

11. What one rider has influenced you the most?
Ice Money…

12. What goes down if you have a bad day?
A thirty pack of very expensive German imported non-alcoholic beer.

13. When was the first time you tried something big/burly/scary?
When I attempted my first backflip treeride.

14. When was the last time you scared yourself on your bike?
The other day when I was trying a barspin to wallride down stairs. Yikes!

15. What was the last bike part you bought?
A tyre for my 24” inch freeride bike.

16. What is the greatest BMX product in the last ten years?
The signature tyre that I designed for Revenge Industries... called The Sweet Leaf.

17. If you could choose two riders to go riding with daily, who would they be?
My sons Ethan and Arion.

18. How would you describe your riding?
Like an insane wild fire burning down what’s left of this imaginary world.

19. What is your favourite type of riding?
Apocalyptic thrashing through the annihilated streets of a once thriving civilization.

20. Describe an ideal day…
Building a totally cool time machine, then travelling back in time to hang out with all the coolest people from the bible. Like Adam and Eve, Cane and Able, Noah, David and Goliath, Samson, Job, Abraham, Zachariah... etc... etc...
