Ride to Glory - Day 1 - The start…


Vans stickered up and ready to roll...

On Friday all the teams drove up to Unit 23 at Glasgow. We initially asked everybody to be there around 6-7pm and so team Fit set of a day before to bring the drive time down. Proper and Wethepeople both have vans with speed regulators on which means they max out at 65mph. 400 miles is a long way at that speed. All the teams arrived around midnight...


Chick owns Unit23 and put up with alot of shit throughout the night...

Everybody seemed to be in high spirits and rode the massive skatepark for a while. The foam pit saw alot of action, mainly from million dollar Marv. We the sat everyone down and Bancroft went through everything on the trip. We handed out the challenge books, height poles, plastic kickers and tape measures and left the teams to look through the books. Lots of questions were asked and it will impossible for anybody to hate it... Here are some photos from the launch...

All the teams are now on the road. Wethepeople are on a ferry to Ireland right now! Federal and Volume are both in Glasgow and are heading out for a night on the tiles. Glasgow aint ready...
