Last year was the first time most people had heard of Matt Priest. The relatively quiet trail rider from Cambridge rode at most of the big comps last year and did pretty well, getting to travel to Europe over the summer and getting hooked up by Vans, Segment, Volume and Demolition. Here is a bit more about him...

When did you start riding?
When I was about 13 and just started going to the local track with my friends after school...

What was your first BMX?
A KHE Killer. With some massive bean can head tube!

When you were not riding, what did you do?
I got shouted at every weekend on the football pitch

First trick you were photographed doing?
Errr probably a one hander or one footer over a dirt jump.

Now...

Do you have a job?
I dont have a proper job at the moment but i working doing labouring with bob for his dad for a while...



What bike do you ride?
I ride a Volume 'Biz' frame and forks with Demolition parts on it..







Who do you look up to?
All my friends mostly and other creative riders...

When you're not riding, what do you do?
Go out with my mates, party drink, go bowling, play pool. build the trails.

Last trick you were photographed doing?
A fufanu at a concrete park in Bristol...


We prefer the trails to the concrete park...
