Dubai

Not much riding the last week, I'm in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, getting my new apartment set up. It's been good in a way, to be off my bike, 'cos I've been feeling really beaten up from the last few months and needed to rest before summer craziness begins.
I've been staying with friends whilst I get everything fixed up - I got full handover of my apartment, I've chosen and ordered all the furniture and stuff, got the water and leccy connected and I'm going to the skatepark later. I have friends here who are working on some good ramp stuff and I'll be back in november for the Dubai X Games and then to chill for the winter.
I'm getting pretty excited about my first trip to the States for the Dew tour. I fly out on the 19th June and it's going to be fun to see everyones new tricks and just to catch up with everyone after winter.
Okay, that's it, oh, except the weather, it wouldn't be British to not mention the weather. It's been between 37 and 41 degrees the whole time I've been here ( that's over 100 in the old money).
