6 weeks on the road

Finally, I'm home. I've been gone for over 6 weeks, in America and Mexico, riding competitions, riding spots along the way, winning friends and influencing people! Seriously, though, it's been a mission. I started in Portland, Oregon, went from there to Salt Lake City, then Phoenix, back to SLC, then Mexico City, then SLC, then Denver, SLC, San Diego and finally, back to Salt Lake one last time for the Dew Tour. I stayed with my friend Chuck Fallon and his wife Lindsay who converted their basement into my bachelor pad.
Making Salt Lake my base was really good, I got to ride all of the crazy concrete parks out there - Layton, Fairmont and Sandy as well as having lots of brakeless sessions with the SLC locals - Skier Jay, Elf and Mikey Aitkin don't own a single brake between them!
Being on the road is lots of fun; the thousands of miles brought lots of good times and surprisingly few bad ones ( I broke my hand the last week in SLC but even that worked out okay with a bit of tape!) Me and Bestwick won all 5 of the vert comps that I went to between us (Jamie 2, me 3) and I had a ton of good sessions at a ton of great places. I got drunk with Nate Wessel in Mexico City, got Euro with Zach Warden in Phoenix (ask Zach about being Euro....), aquired a cowbot hat, got some amazing purple wheels, lost a moustache growing bet, cleaned TJ Lavin out at poker, only to have Dillewaard win it all back! Fun  and games!
I'm in England for 3 weeks then Germany then back to America for the Dew Tour finals. Let the good times roll.......
