Road Fools 16 Update

Catfish came on board the other day, and bought the "mine" game with him. The "mine" game is this: basically if you get caught saying the word "mine" you have to drop down and do 10 pushups. Everyone, including Catfish himself, had do some pushups the last few days. The media dudes, myself included, seem to be falling for it the most, and will be benching more than Brad Simms by the end of the trip.

Brett Walker gettin' to it.

Speaking of Brett, him and Cory Bohan's clothing bags, along with Corey's new MacBook disappeared from their hotel room late the other night, thanks to a few sketchy characters, which was a real bummer. The evening temperatures have been pretty awesome for riding, and as a result the ASU campus saw some heavy sessions the past few nights; you'll have to wait for the article and video for further details. The other day some of the crew went to the sweet but slippery Glendale concrete park while the rest of the crew hit some more Phoenix area spots. Brad Simms said he got 3 flat tires in one day and broke 3 spokes.

This is another great Arizona concrete creation.

Yesterday the temps dropped, and the wind picked up; as Brad Simms stated, "It went from 100, to 70 degrees and 40 mile an hour winds". A stop at a hot ledge near some baseball field turned into a really good session, with T-Nez, Rob Wise, and Kurt Rasmussen throwing down some hot moves, and Justin Simpson skate sailing.

T-Nez...

Everyone headed over to this wild backyard ramp/ trails setup in Sunrise, Arizona later in the afternoon.

Morgan roasting; Kurt spectating.

The trails were a little rough to ride in the gusts blowing everyone around, but everyone seemed to manage ok on the nice mini ramp set up. All the locals were super cool, and even got us some pizza pies for dinner. Today, some of the crew headed to Riverside to shred Lonnie's, and the rest are off to Tucson...
